 Handbag Game

A nice game to get everyone settled.

Start with each person taking 3 items from their handbag and placing them in separate paper bags.

They are then given to a nominated person who opens each bag in turn.

The rest of the party has to guess who they belong to.

Pass the bag

To break the ice at your next party, put a nice prize in a brown paper bag and staple it shut - no peeking. Give it to the first person to arrive at the party. After all the guests have arrived have the person that has the bag pass it to:

1. Person with most buttons
2. Person with smallest shoe size
3. Person with largest earrings
4. One with the most children
5. Person married longest
6. One with the youngest child
7. The tallest person
8. Last person to arrive at the party
9. Person with the most letters in their full name (first, middle, & last)
10. Person on their right
The last person keeps the prize in the bag.

Replace your Husband

Give each guest an index card and tell them to list a household item that they would love to get rid of. Then, have them list five reasons why they would get rid of it.

After everyone is done writing, say, "OK, that household item that you have written down, I want you to cross it out and replace it with your husband or boyfriend's name." When they say the sentence they must say: I want to replace (name of husband/boyfriend) because he is....................... and list their reasons.

It's a hoot of a game and everyone loves it. The one that has the most outlandish answers wins.

Bingo

Create some bingo cards by drawing a 4 by 4 box grid on a piece of paper. Write “Free” on the center box. Then write the names of your products on the remaining boxes in random order on each of the bingo cards and make yourself a set of cards with just one of the products on each card. You will use this set of cards to draw the bingo “numbers”. You may want to have a sample of each of the products with you and show it and talk about it when the product is drawn during the bingo game. As in ordinary bingo, the first person who has a row of items checked off wins a prize.

How Well Do You Know Your Hostess?

Give a piece of paper to each of your guests and have them number it from 1 to 10. Then ask them to answer the following questions.

* What is your hostess’s favorite color?
* If she could have any vehicle, what would it be?
* How many kids does she have?
* What is her favorite hobby?
* Who is her favorite actor?
* What is her favorite animal?
* What is her favorite TV show?
* What is her favorite food?
* What is her favorite scent or smell?
* If you were in need of something, would your hostess give it to you if she can?

After everyone writes down their answers (including the hostess), read the questions again and have the hostess tell everyone her answers. The other guests mark on their papers if they got it right or wrong. The person with the most write answers wins a small prize or discount on their purchase.

You can change and rearrange any of the questions, but leave the last one in place. It provides a nice lead- in to mention that the hostess will get free product if they purchase a certain amount, and/or book their own parties.
